Wichita State University’s Public Policy and Management Center (WSU PPMC) has taken the Kansas Caregivers Support Network to a new level by launching a new website under a collaborative effort with WSU T3. The website was developed with the support of a contract with the Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF) to support the contract’s initiatives to provide meaningful representation and a voice to caregivers. The Kansas Caregivers Support Network will provide for caregivers’ needs in a variety of ways, including peer to peer support and mentoring, education and training opportunities, and information and resources to assist all caregivers in feeling equipped to handle the needs of children in care.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between Kansas Caregivers and the Child Welfare System by creating access to resources to sustain a healthy placement.
T3 is thrilled to be a part of the initiative and we look forward to further supporting WSU PPMC and the Kansas Caregivers Support Network in any capacity.
