Project Description

Holiday Greetings from T3

What began as a challenge…

The holiday card was a challenging and fun project for our creative team. It required two long conference tables, a camera track, handcrafted letters and each piece individually cut, down to the scarf of our cute little teddy. Throughout the process, we lost count of how many X-ACTO blades we switched out to ensure precise cutting.

Our creative team hand-selected 140 images out of a total of 285 to compose the final animation. After hours of tireless dedication, the final output was rewarding to see.

became a tradition.

Over the years, one of our student designers and a fulltime designer would brainstorm to create extraordinary animations for our holiday cards. It turned into a tradition our design team looked forward to. The stakes got higher each year as we challenged one another. The competitiveness has been fun and rewarding.

“We love the work we do here at T3. We strive to push the envelope to think outside the box, be creative and find new inspiration. I presented a challenge for our creative team to create a fun piece of work using a technology or tool that we are not familiar with, or use in our daily work. The results have been exceptional as I witness the progression over the years. I couldn’t be more proud of our team.”

Fennie Linh Christensen, Media Team Lead

Stop Motion Animation

Stop motion is an animation technique that physically manipulates an object so that it appears to move on its own. The object is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a fast sequence.
